When local villagers, who are dependent on dam water for their cattle and farming activities objected, the criminals pretended that they have governement authority to do so. They also called in reinforcement and tried to bully people.

But for the alertness of local police and administration, their plan came undone and 8 named youth & 20 unknown have been booked by police.
