The local Hindu, specially Rajput community is strongly raising voice for justice to the victim family, facebook page, Documenting Crimes Against Hindus has reported.

On 22 March 2020, whole India was celebrating the service of corona warriors by clapping and banging thali, but Rewat Singh, whose act of appreciating our warriors was found so unacceptable by Dildar Khan that he ambushed him on 4 april and fatally wounded him.

The victim struggled for 5 days in hospital before he died leaving behind 2 infants and wife.

The local Hindu, specially Rajput community is strongly raising voice for justice to the victim family.

Jaisalmer SP Kiran Kang said that police on Friday arrested Dildar Khan under IPC Section 302 and sent Bhaniyana police station in-charge Shankar Lal  to lines for carelessness. According to the information, Mahindra Singh gave a report at Bhaniyana police station that on April 4 he along with his uncle Rewat Singh was going to Jaimla Road on two motorcycles. Suddenly, Dildar Khan, Firoz and Iqbal started chasing them and stopped them.

They beat up Rewat Singh with a stick. He was seriously injured and rushed to Bhaniyala hospital from where he was referred to Jodhpur.

Rewat struggled for five days after he went into coma and then he diied in Jodhpur.
