Muzaffarnagar, UP: Sevaram, a resident of Safipur town, was reportedly growing oats for fodder in field near the house. Around five o’clock on Friday evening, Sevaram and his wife Anita went to the farm to cut oats, and they saw some youths of Muslim Community there cutting the oats.

The couple shouted at the youth and tried to stop them from cutting oats from their fields. Youth along with many other people reached the field and attacked the couple with sticks. The injured couple ran home from there.

The police reached the spot and admitted the injured to the CHC. Inspector Kushalpal Singh said that the matter is being investigated and action will be taken after filing report on Tahrir.
