Increase in theft of idols reported in Dhardhari Brahmadevi Temple, Chhatishgarh amid lockdown

Kansabel Police has registered case regarding the theft under section 380, facebook page Documenting Crimes Against Hindus has reported.

Dhardhari, Chhatisgarh: There has been increase in theft of idols from temples in Chhatisgarh and this time, Dhardhari’s Brahmdevi Temple has been targeted by thieves.

The temple was housing two ancient idols of Bhagwan Vishnu. Since the footfall at temple is reduced due to lockdown, the thieves decamped with both idols. Earlier as well, a Vishnu idol was stolen from a Hathgarha temple in Kansabel.

Kansabel Police has registered case regarding the theft under section 380.
