Devaswom board decides to postpone Sabarimala festival

Travancore Devaswom President N Vasu announced that that a decision has been taken not to open the ‘Kshetra nada’ in this regard, Matrubhumi has reported.

Pathanamthitta: Sabarimala temple has postponed Sabarimala festival in view of lockdown imposed in the state as a precautionary measure to arrest the deadly corona pandemic spread.

Travancore Devaswom President N Vasu announced that that a decision has been taken not to open the ‘Kshetra nada’ in this regard.

The festival was scheduled to take place between March 29 and April 7.  Devaswom board also announced that all ceremonies related to festivals in temples under the Travancore Dewaswom board will be postponed.
